What is the ozone ion handpiece?
It is a handheld wand with a curved glass tip. Your esthetician passes it a short distance above or lightly over clean skin as a finishing, refreshing step. It is a cosmetic surface treatment, and it is always paired with a thorough cleanse and a hydrating serum.

Why does it smell fresh or clean?
The handpiece can create a light, clean scent, similar to the air after a rain shower. It is normal and fades quickly.
Who should skip it?
Skip it if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or have asthma that is triggered by scents. Tell us about conditions at booking, and we will tailor your visit.
How is it different from high frequency?
Both use a glass electrode, but the sensations differ. Your esthetician chooses the step that fits your skin and the look you want that day.
