High Frequency Facial in Fort Myers
High frequency is a gentle, tingling current delivered through a glass electrode that glides just above the skin. It is a favorite finishing step for blemish-prone skin, leaving it looking fresher, clearer and more balanced. Lumina already offers it as an add-on, and the Hydra Spa Infusion brings it into one seamless visit.

What is a high frequency facial?
It is a handpiece with a clear glass electrode that sends a very light current over intact skin. Your esthetician moves it across the face in small, slow passes, and you may hear a faint crackle and feel a warm tingle. The set comes with several electrode shapes, from a mushroom for broad areas to a pointed tip for spot-sized areas.
What does it do for your skin?
- Leaves blemish-prone skin looking fresher and clearer
- Gives the skin a warm, balanced, refreshed look
- Works well as a final step after extractions or exfoliation

What pairs well with it?
High frequency questions
Does high frequency hurt?
No. Most clients feel a light tingle and mild warmth. If it ever feels too strong, your esthetician lowers the intensity right away.
Is it safe for everyone?
Tell us if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implants, or have epilepsy. We will choose a different step if high frequency is not right for you.
Will it clear my breakouts?
It is a cosmetic step that helps skin look clearer and fresher. It does not treat or cure acne, and ongoing skin concerns are best discussed with a medical provider.
How often can I have it?
Most clients enjoy it as part of a facial every four to six weeks. Your esthetician will suggest a rhythm that suits your skin.
Which Hydra Spa facials include high frequency?
High frequency is part of the Clarify and Ultra Glow facials, using the glass-electrode steps. The Express Hydrate, Signature, Brighten and Deluxe facials use other steps instead. Kira confirms the steps that suit your skin at your consultation.
