What is aqua hydro-dermabrasion?
It is a handpiece with a clear, swirl-shaped tip that pairs a light vacuum with a steady flow of cleansing and hydrating solution. Instead of scrubbing the skin, it lifts debris away with water and gentle suction, then leaves moisture behind. Your esthetician swaps between tip sizes for the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin.

Does aqua hydro-dermabrasion hurt?
No. Most clients describe a gentle, cool pull and a relaxing swirl. Your esthetician adjusts the suction to your comfort and skin type, and tells you what to expect as she works.
Is it the same as microdermabrasion?
They are cousins. Microdermabrasion polishes the surface with a diamond tip. Aqua hydro-dermabrasion uses a water vortex and solution to cleanse and hydrate at the same time, so it feels softer and is often chosen for dry or sensitive-looking skin.
How soon will I see a difference?
Most people notice a fresher, more hydrated look right after one visit. A smoother-looking, more even glow tends to build with regular visits every four to six weeks. Results vary and are cosmetic.
Who should skip it?
Tell us if you are pregnant, have active infections or sunburn, are on prescription retinoids, or have had a recent procedure. Your esthetician will suggest a gentler alternative if it is not right for you that day.
